Up Close and Dangerous - Linda Howard This was just OK for me. Normally I like Linda Howard but this book left me a bit cold. Like a lot of other reviews said, there was a lot of survival talk in the book. It was interesting up to a certain point but after awhile it got somewhat tedious. It was also somewhat unrealistic that these characters who didn't know each other or like each other would suddenly fall in LOVE. I mean, he's talking marriage after a few days. And where in the world did he find a condom? I guess men are always prepared. This book didn't have the depth or tension that I usually find in Linda Howard books. Not a keeper for me.
